The discovery of the beauty and historical Islamic spirit of the Islamic Emirate of Al Andalus (Islamic Spain). A spiritual and cultural journey through the last Muslim kingdom in Europe, visiting historic mosques, palaces, and the legendary cities of Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada, and Gibraltar.
Day 1: MALAGA AIRPORT - MARBELLA - GIBRALTAR - TARIFA - BARBATE - MEDINA SIDONIA - BENACAZON

After arrival at Malaga International Airport, we start our journey along the beautiful Mediterranean coast to Marbella. We continue to Gibraltar for a panoramic stop at Jabal Tariq, the mountain named after the great Muslim general Tariq ibn Ziyad who crossed the strait in 711. We proceed to Tarifa, the southernmost point of Europe, then visit Barbate and the historic town of Medina Sidonia before arriving at our hotel in Benacazon.
Day 2: BENACAZON - SEVILLA - BENACAZON

Full day visit to the beautiful city of Sevilla. Visit the oldest surviving inscription from al-Andalus above the cloister entrance of the church of San Salvador, which occupies the site of the earliest Sevillian Mosque. Explore the Alcazar Palace, the Cathedral (built on the site of the great Almohad mosque), the Giralda tower (originally a minaret), and the historic quarters of this magnificent city.
Day 3: BENACAZON - TAVIRA (PORTUGAL) - BENACAZON

Today we cross the border into Portugal to visit the charming town of Tavira, known for its rich Moorish heritage. Explore the old town with its Islamic-era castle ruins and bridges. Return to Benacazon for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: BENACAZON - RONDA - BENACAZON

Visit the spectacular mountaintop city of Ronda, one of the oldest cities in Spain with deep Moorish roots. Marvel at the dramatic El Tajo gorge and the Puente Nuevo bridge. Explore the old Medina quarter, the Arab baths, and the Mondragon Palace. Return to Benacazon for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: BENACAZON - CORDOBA - GRANADA (LOJA)

We visit the great Medina Azahara Museum and the Great Mosque of Cordoba. Visit the bridge of Musa Ibn Nusair. Visit the old Historical City Al Juderia Islamic quarter. Free traditional shopping. Later in the evening we continue our journey to the last Kingdom of Islamic Spain, the Nazari Islamic Kingdom of Gharnaata (Granada). Dinner and overnight in Granada (Loja).
Day 6: GRANADA (LOJA)

Full day exploring Granada, the last Muslim stronghold in Spain. Visit the legendary Alhambra palace. On January 2nd, 1492, the treaty took effect and the Spanish army entered Granada and officially took possession of the last Muslim state of al-Andalus. Christian soldiers occupied the legendary Alhambra palace that morning. Explore the Albaicin quarter, the old Islamic neighborhood, and visit local mosques and Islamic heritage sites.
Day 7: GRANADA (LOJA) - MALAGA AIRPORT
Breakfast
After breakfast, transfer to Malaga International Airport for your return flight.
